ditions. Worked with doctors to create school health plans to maximize the student’s learning opportu-
nities. Deliver medical care to fragile students in Special Education who need medication or treat-
ment. Train/supervise health assistant and para-
professionals on medical tasks being delegated by
the parent. Perform as well as supervise student
screenings that include vision, hearing, scoliosis, and blood pressure. Helped identify barriers to
learning and writing an Individualized Educational Plan for students. Member of school safety and
crisis teams. Created protocols for the campus re- garding COVID-19 using CDC and county guide-
lines which included contact tracing, isolation, and quarantine instructions/implementation.

Heart monitoring and nursing care for patients in
cardiac step down unit (after ICU). Required to in- terpret cardiac rhythms and notify doctors of any
changes in cardiac or respiratory, administer emer- gency standing orders to patients. I helped run
”code blues.” It was a teaching hospital and I worked closely with doctors and interns in caring for our patients.
