In this position I direct an assistant and many contractors.
I coordinated and planned work developed MOP’s for work and inspected work.
I procured quotes, developed plans for work, scheduled processed thru the change management system.
This work is for a Data Center for the Financial Industry that needed to be up at all times. This Includes multiple locations.
This requires that all systems are available with back up when needed. There are generators, ATS’s, UPS’s, PDU’s and distribution systems that require preventative maintenance and be assessed regularly. There are also HVAC systems, and Air Compressors that were critical to operation. This is a 24/7 environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide on-site field coordination supervision and project management support for the operation of a data center.
Management of mission critical equipment used to operate and maintain a data center.
Management of systems and physical environment integration (life safety, mechanical, plumbing, and power related activities and issues).
Report discrepancies and trends to the operations team and clients.
Manage preventative and emergency maintenance schedules and procedures for building systems; identify back-up and replacement inventory needs for critical systems.
Oversee all maintenance schedules and providers.
Provide on-call support (24x7).
Assist in updates of standard practices consistent for data center operations and equipment.
Oversee and coordinate sub-contractors to assure proper installation of equipment and delivery of maintenance services.
Troubleshoot emergencies, equipment problems, and technical issues, organize and oversee resolutions.
Provide ongoing technical support, management and oversight of vendors as necessary..
Complete inspections and maintenance. Scheduled maintenance may include, but is not limited to, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annual equipment maintenance.

In this position I directed a 29-person maintenance crew on multiple shifts. Schedule and coordinate work, help with Training of the maintenance crew on numerous systems in the extrusion and thermoforming areas. This training is both electrical and mechanical, including PSM, Arc-Flash, NFPA 70E, Fall Protection, Confined Space, H.S.P. to mention a few. This includes creating manuals and work instructions.
Create and schedule machine PM’s. Give work instructions as needed to be sure work is performed in a safe workman like manner. When possible acquire parts and documentation before maintenance is performed. Look for faster more efficient ways to get the work done. Strive to foster a work environment that helps promote collaboration between everyone working on a project to possibly find a more efficient solution.
