Project Description

Project Work Title: AUTOMATIC BRAKING SYSTEM USING

MICROCONTROLLER (ARDUINO)

Project Work done at: BRAKES INDIA LIMITED, Padi, Chennai

Description: The whole system works only when the vehicle is in motion. When

the IR sensor detect any obstacle in-front of the vehicle, it sends a signal to

the control unit, which allows the passage of air from the compressor to the

pneumatic cylinder and results in stopping the running wheel.Thus we have

developed an AUTOMATIC BRAKING SYSTEM USING MICROCONTROLLER

(ARDUINO) which helps in understanding how to achieve low cost automation.
