Jun-2014 to Mar-2018 - Sr. Drill Site Manager Decision Support Center (DSC) Houston, TX

Monitored rig operations and evaluated drilling activity on Complex Deep Water GOM and Land location worldwide directed towards Well Control, drilling issues, and reducing Nonproductive time.

Directed, mentored, and helped engineers with Torque and Drag models, SOP’s, & EAR’s.

Reviewed rig drilling program. Reviewed and attended POA’s and ROMS.

Well Control operations, Cement calculations, Completion Operations, Etc.

Mentored new ADP’s and engineers on rig operations and procedures.

Worked closely with Real Time Operator (RTO) tracking

Oct-2012 to Jun-2014 – Sr. Drill Site Manager (Chevron Europe, CUE Land operations)

Drilled, Cored, and Frac 8- Shale Gas in Eastern Poland. Drilled and completed 2- shallow oil wells in Lithuania.

In Poland we would drill down to the designated depth ~3500 meters. Pick up a 100 ft 4-inch Inner-Core Barrel and cut a Core section. On each well we would run Logs and a Frac unit would be rigged up.

Conducted incident free operation with min. Nonproductive time

2 years 1- LTA in winter conditions of up to -36 deg. C

Conducted safety meetings and JSA’s both in English and translated into Polish and Germain daily.

Liaison between Chevron CUE and the local Polish Government.

Worked closely with Chevron PGPA and local Polish people.

In Lithuania the wells were drilled to ~3,000 meters and completed with a single completion.

Formation samples and Seismic logs were taken on TD with Elect Line.

Completed, perforated, and flowed well through production lines to separator.

Feb-2010 to Oct-2012 – Sr. Drill Site Manager (Chevron Latin America LABU Land Operations)

Drilled and Completed HTHP Horizontal gas wells.

Drilled HPHT highly deviated directional gas well along salt dome to top of pressure cap.

Completed well with sliding sleeve and Subsea well head due yearly flooding from Caribbean Sea up to 20 ft water depth.

Mentored and trained 3 Colombia engineers.

May-2005 to Jan-2007 - Sr, Drill Site Manager Hurricane Intervention Team (Chevron GOM Jack Up operations) (Supervisor (s) Jeff Smith – Chris Labat). 24 hour a day operation. Salvage, P&A, and D-Commission hurricane (Katrina and Rita) damaged wells and platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. Most work was done simultaneously working on other wells.

Designed surface equipment to be able to work subsea (110 ft to 140 ft)

Guillotine saws, Wire cutters, Hydrohalic saws, High pressure pack off (3,000 to 5,000 psi) and Slip on well head pack off.

All work was done off a Jack Up rig using Star Fix and Sonar to find damaged platforms.

Coordinated work activities with 2- complete Diving crews, Elect-Line, Slick Line, and Cementers.

Utilizes Coil Tubing to clean out sand plugs inside tubing to cement perforations.

Utilized E-Line to set in tubing plugs before cutting tubing and setting cement balanced plugs in tubing and annulus.

Utilizes Slick Line to pull in tubing plugs or lock open SCSSV valves.

Two Years no LTA and very little NPT. Mostly due to weather or current stopping diving operations.

Conducted Safety Meetings, JSA’s, and After-Action Reviews, with all crews.

Liaison between MMS (BSEE, Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement) approval.

Jun-2000 to May-2005 – Drilling & Completions Consultant (D.A. Melancon & Associates Lockport, Louisiana) Drilled, completed, and worked over wells on land, barges, and Jack Up operations in Louisiana, Alabama, and Texas.

Drilled wells for most Major and Independent oil companies such as: Dominion, Denbury Management, ORX, Stone Energy, Castex, Apache Corp., Anadarko, Murphy, and Burlington.

Drilled wells from 8,000 ft to 25,000 ft using Water Base and Synthetic Base drilling fluids. Mostly on inland barges and Jack Up rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Highly deviated directional wells with bent housing motors and packed hole assy.

On land most of the wells were vertical with Water Base fluids. These wells were drilled in Louisiana and East Texas.

On completions ran cleanouts, milling plugs, spotting acid, TCP, perforating, pumping plugs, etc.

Offshore platforms were surveyed often for anti-collision with other wells.

Most wells were single completion with gas-lift valves and SSSV installed 300 ft to 500 ft below surface. Drilled and completed a few Duel Completions in the marshes of Louisiana.

June 1973 – June 2000 - Drilling & Completions Work over (Two R Drilling & R & B Falcon Houma, La). Started right out of High School on inland barges in South Louisiana with some Jack up operations.

Six (6) months Floor hand, Six (6) years Derrick hand, Seventeen (17) years Driller, Four (4) years Tool Pusher (Rig Manager).
