Professional Summary:

I've been an experienced monitor technician since 2014 and a certified nurse assistant since 2006. My expertise is in the Telemetry and Medical Surgical Unit. I’m currently working as a travel cardiac monitor technician in Franciscan Education Support Center, a remote virtual telemetry unit, in Tacoma, WA since August of 2021 - present. I monitor, measure, and interpret heart rhythms and SPO2. Proper documentation on EPIC and telemetry log form. I make sure all telemetry leads, battery, and SPO2 are connected properly to the patient. Report to RN for any change in patients heart rate, rhythm, and ectopic. I do traffic control, making sure patients are getting admitted, transferred, and discharged on a proper time manner.

I've worked in Labor and Delivery unit at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center as a ward clerk for 2 years. I made sure patients’ documents are ready before they come in for their appointments. Assembled charts for admissions and discharges and as well keeping track of all the patients who goes in and out the unit. Answer, transfer calls, and also schedule surgeries or any other appointments the patient needed.

I worked at Marian Regional Medical Center in Coronary Care Unit as a unit clerk/nurse assistant/monitor observer (UC/NA/MO) for 2 years (2014-2016). Performed general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing. Under the supervision of the RN, I provide routine nursing care in accordance with the policies and procedures of the nursing department. I worked for San Joaquin Community Hospital for 8 years in Telemetry floor unit in (2006- 2014). I checked vital signs, provided customer service, made sure patients were safe at night, helped with ADL, grooming, feeding, and ambulation. As a CNA, I assist in patient care throughout nursing areas and is responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services. I also had an opportunity to be trained as a monitor technician. I’m responsible for printing and measuring rhythm strips and correct documentations on the computer.
