NATURE OF WORK DONE (JOB DESCRIPTION)
Preparation of monthly payment applications including checking site measurement of completed Work and checking the materials delivered onto site that can be included under the valuation.
Review Variations, directions and instructions issued by the Engineer and advise to the PM accordingly of the contractual and commercial implications, issue any necessary response.
Responsible for a range of activities which may include cost planning, value engineering, lifecycle costing, tendering, valuation and cost estimating.
Measurement, Price Analysis and Evaluation of the Variation works in accordance with the conditions of Contract.
Developed cost control plan and manage cost through different phases of project and track any variance of actual costs from budgeted costs of each element and ascertain the cause(s) of variance to budgeted costs and utilized possible corrective measure to realign between actual and budgeted costs.
Management of the project budget including reporting progress bi-weekly against the budget and running a detailed spreadsheet “cost to completion” of the contract works including a projected P&L. raising early warning notices to the client for potential additional costs.
