I am energetic, dependable, hardworking, versatile, and able to wear multiple hats. I have over 32 years’ experience in diagnostic radiology and patient care. I will bring 110% of myself to my job and my patient care. I have experience with Allscripts, Paragon, Epic, PACS, EMR, and Sorian. I enjoy learning new and advanced solutions to patient care and I am willing to take any classes or obtain any type of certification needed in order to provide the ultimate in patient care at your facility. MRI Technologist Program (October 1, 2021 – Present)
I have completed all classroom work and have received my certificate for the MRI Program through Pulse Radiology, which is recognized and accepted by ARRT. I am projected to begin my clinical training in April, 2022. I will sit for my National Registry exam for MRI upon completion of my MRI clinicals.

All radiologic imaging, computer work such as ordering the exam, burning the exam to a disk if needed, patient transport and positioning for any exam requested by the providers. I have experience with Allscripts, paragon, PACS, Epic. I assist with patient care, triaging patients, doing basic lab work, which I have been trained by an MLT to perform. Drawing blood, starting IV's, obtaining EKG’s, collecting specimens for strep tests, flu swabs, urine, mono, and COVID. Assisting the providers with lacerations, I & D's, pelvic exams, as well as skilled in the placement of orthopedic devices on patients .

I was trained by an MLT to do basic lab work to include CBC's, flu swabs, strep tests, urine tests, blood sugar testing, h-pylori, hcg's. I triaged patient, registered patients, scheduled patients for more complex radiology exams. I drew blood, started IV's, assisted the providers with lacerations, pelvic exams, I & D's and any other exams that they required assistance with. The reason I left this position was due to my husband accepting a new job position.
Paramedic (October 1998-April 2009)
Thomas County Emergency Services (Thomasville, Georgia)
ACLS lifesaving and BLS lifesaving training. Provided the highest quality patient care within my scope of practice. Able to work independent as well as with care teams. Able to work in high stress areas and situations. I was a Lieutenant and was supervising 10 employees, handling patient care documents, doing time for all employees of Thomas County EMS. Attending County meetings with the County Manager when the Captain was not available to attend. I gave 110% to each patient that I was responsible for. I resigned from this position due to management, staffing, and salary issues as well as issues from surgical complication.
Military Police Officer (April 1982 -March 1985)
United States Army / Army Reserve
To Protect and serve all military members, their families, and nonmilitary persons on the military instillation in which I was assigned. Law enforcement duties to include guarding of high ranking military officers. I worked with CID and the drug suppression team to combat narcotics on the military installations I was assigned to. Performed traffic duties. I received the two highest awards that can be received during peace time. The ARCON and the Army Achievement Award. I was honorably discharged from the United States Army.
