SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Over 15 years of progressive experience in the U.S. Army as a Food Service Inspector. Inspected food items in all areas under the contract such as age, weight, quality, and grade. Conducted sanitation inspections in military and commercial food establishments. Supervised and trained personnel in food inspection, procurement, shipment and storage procedures. Recorded and maintained product history records, contractual deficiencies and violations of food wholesomeness. Supervised the manufacturing of military unitized group rations for the military forces that were mainly in Iraq. Performed computer updating and trouble shooting while serving as the unit's Computer Technician.

FOOD INSPECTION: Inspected meat, poultry, eggs, dairy products (pulling samples and age requirements), produce, bakery and canned food items in depots, warehouses, distribution points, installations and conveyances. Determined type of food inspections to be performed, lot size, acceptable quality levels, identity, condition and quantity of subsistence. Applied random selection on items to verify age, weight and physical compliance with contracts.

SANITATION INSPECTION: Performed sanitation inspections on food storage facilities, military grocery stores and commercial food establishments for unsanitary conditions. Recommended corrective actions on processing plants, distribution points, storage areas and displayed items.

MANUFACTURING: Supervised and performed inspections of unitized group rations during the assembling process of these rations. Also performed inspections of unitized group rations before rations where sent to the military.

SUPERVISION and TRAINING: Conducted subsistence quality assurance training in food handling and processing establishments, on food items procured, shipped and stored. Prepared and conducted in-service training for 28 personnel on food inspection and veterinary service activity.

ADMINISTRATION: Maintained historical records on quality and verification reports of products. Recorded contractual deficiencies on age, weight, quantity, labeling and grade. Recorded violations of food wholesomeness and food establishment sanitary requirements. Posted changes in publications for quality assurance procedures. Prepared and approved inspection reports.

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN: Maintained and performed the updates and minor trouble shooting as the unit's Computer Technician. Loaded new computers and laptops with the needed programs and ensured the land line was functional from the unit.
