Training Department Duties and Responsibilities:
My most recent duties encompass QC LCA status. Responsible for quality control ensuring standardization of LCA group and observing candidates for future LCA position. Selected as Initial Cadre Line Check Airman on the B-787 induction program at United Airlines, conducting proving flights prior to operating certificate approval. Conducted IOE, OER and Qualification Line Checks to newly trained pilots on the B-787. Prior to this selection and activities I was conducting similar activities as a Line Check Airman on the B-777.
My previous duties have included teaching an assigned syllabus simulator course to students new to a particular aircraft as well as pilots assigned for routine re-currency training. Prior to AQP, Phase 3 training also conducted flight training in the aircraft. While in the Training Department, I was involved in the development of training syllabus on MD-80 and DC-10 aircraft. My involvement also included the migration of the DC-10 to new navigational certification to include proving flights and post maintenance test flights. I was involved in the seperation of fleet types and stand alone manual development from difference oriented training. Involved in CRM development and instruction. Involved in FOQA, ASAP,AQP, SMS development and implementation.
