had the pleasure of teaching and mentoring with the NYU Tisch School of the arts dance summer exchange
program. Invited by NYU faculty professional Giada Ferrone also the artistic director of the Toscana Dance Hub in
Florence Italy. Students performed in Florence.
Artistic Director of the Rhonda Cates Dance & Theatrical Company. Providing arts in education for NYCDOE, private
foundations and arts organizations: produces dance, music, theatre and visual arts programs, from K-12 to regional
theater productions; from special needs students to scholarship and competition winners.
Collaborations with core subject teachers to align theatre, dance and musical arts with curriculums. For example,
“Colonial Cavalcade” aligns theatrical arts with classroom history. Rhonda's “No, Bully!” theater program is
customized to suit class abilities, and covers all the grades. The RCDTC's staff development residencies trains
teachers to incorporate “creative movement’ into classroom agendas.

Saturday classes of young dancers.
