Thank you for the opportunity to apply for the Family Nurse Practitioner role at your practice. As a recent graduate from the Master’s program at the University of Michigan and a 2020 Bachelor’s graduate from Wayne State University, I am confident in my skills and experience for this role.

In my former role as a student, I endured various clinical experiences at specialty clinics, urgent cares, and family practice centers. I also worked part time as a registered nurse for two years. Prior to that I completed a nurse externship for a year and half as well. Through these experiences I worked on an observation short stay unit where I saw a variety of patients all ages and during this, I also was floated to the emergency department several times a month. I also spent some time on a cardiovascular telemetry floor where I participated in the care of even more critical patients and was utilizing epic, Microsoft and excel programs.

I find myself to not only be a hard-working individual, but also a determined and quality-orientated fit for your company. Working at this family practice, I am motivated to always educate, advocate, and provide primary care for all patient populations within acute and chronic diseases. I will apply strong leadership, open communication and critical thinking skills daily to relay myself into this role at your company. I will perform initial exams, patient observations, order diagnostic testing, communicate lab results, record patient medical histories and operate equipment accordingly.
