Summer 2021-Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center-Teachers Assistant: supervised and mentored students participating in the Buffalo Health Care Exploration program, oversaw an innovation project, interacted with various aspects of the hospital including endoscopic and robotic surgery, obtained American Heart Health certification. Summer 2021-Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center-Robotic Surgery Research Participant: Participated in a robotic surgical research study which included hands on practice of surgical tasks using the DaVinci Surgical System in order to contribute to a case study of synchronized brain dynamics and eye movement trajectory for the objective evaluation of robot assisted surgical skills. My surgical skills were being studied and evaluated in order to assist Roswell in developing tools and models to optimize the robot assisted surgery training process. Summer 2018- Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center- Buffalo Health Care Exploration: Shadowed professionals performing various hospital functions; studied a fictional patient throughout a treatment plan; learned about robotic surgery; worked with a team to develop and present innovative methods for hospital patient transportation. Summer 2017-Hauptman-Woodward Research Institute- Researched amino and nucleic acid sequence analysis to determine the origin and evolution of the genetic code including presentation of findings.
