SixconfigurationsofvariousshapesofspikeswithaerodisksofRe-Entry VehiclesweredesignedandthehypersonicflowoveritwassimulatedusingCFD software.Forthere-entryvehiclesreducedtemperatureandincreaseindragisthebasic criteriaforsafeandefficientre-entryofthehypersonicvehicle,thiswasanalyzedforthe sixconfigurations.

Thecontoursandgraphsforvariousfactorslikestatictemperatureandpressure, density,turbulenceandvelocityweremadeusingsoftware.Thenetresultsofthesix configurationsweretabulatedbasedonthoseabovefactorswithdragforceand comparativeanalysiswasdone.
