EXPERIENCE: NOVEMBER 2014 – Novemebr 2016

ROLE: Application Tester

National MNP(Mobile Number Portability): Implementation of national level MNP which allows MNP between different cities. Involved integration testing, UAT and regression testing of CRM, MNP and Billing and impacted Databases

Premium number allocation for FWP & Data Card handset: It involved functional testing of PL/SQL scripts used for generation of number series, reservation and allocation and charging of the numbers. Also integration testing was done for the scripts.

Data Consent (TRAI requirement): This requirement was about taking customer’s consent regarding data services at the time of number activation. This was time critical CR that impacted all major systems; hence Agile model was used to ensure timely delivery. Done integration testing, interface testing, regression testing.

Televerification process through IVR: Earlier Televerification was done by Customer Executive. To reduce calls to Customer Executive, this process was migrated to IVR. It involved testing of interface between TIBCO and IVR using SOAP UI. Involved testing IVR message codes.

LTE Migration and acquisition: This included a process for handling end to end flow for CDMA Subscribers who wish to migrate to LTE; this comprises of Pre-provisioning and Acquisition, MACDS and customer lifecycle flow for postpaid and prepaid Mobile and data subscribers. All major systems were impacted and thoroughly tested

TrustZscaler: Portal was previously built with Wordpress, only the content that was stored as a DB line item and wastransferred to Drupal as blog post. RSS feed, email subscription were implemented

Badgeville: Badgeville provide gamification APIs, this site is for their API documentation and forums for users who use Badgeville’s gamification API. The site has facilities like email subscription, printable books, search. Provided support for maintenance of this website which included development and testing of new features.

Alteryx: This is a static website with several microsites. Most of the pages on the website have different designs and layout, hence lot of HTML,CSS work was involved.

Occasions Planner

This is a web application and a mobile application for planning any types of events. Facilities like creating and maintaining events, guest list, photo sharing, RSVP, facebook connectivity etc are included.

ENGINEERING FINAL YEAR PROJECT

Taxi fare calculation and routing

An Android application to calculate taxi fare. This application calculates nearest exact fare along with showing the route the taxi driver took. The application also helps to provide security to the user in case of emergency by either sending an SMS to selected numbers or the location of the user will be shared SOC.
