As a pipefitter top helper I was in charge of making fits and prepping up pipe for my fitter, I was also familiarized with the isometric drawings. At points I would also bolt up pipe and valves and was familiarized with valves and their functions. After a while I was evaluated and promoted to pipefitter.

Performance, Sioux City, IOWA - Pipefitter Helper

In performance I was a helper for the CF industries project in Sioux city Iowa. As a helper was in charge of assisting my crew and foreman with whatever they needed. I was required to prep up pipe with grinders and in grinders. I would work in elevated structures such as scaffolds and on towers/tanks. I was to understand iso drawings and how to rack up pipe.
Dynamic, Freeport, TEXAS — Pipefitter helper
2015 - December 2015
I was a pipefitter helper with Dynamic.. As a pipefitter helper i was required to help out my fitter with everything they needed such as fitting and getting the work area ready with barricades and tags. I would help the fitter lift heavy objects, and keep the work area clean for him and the rest of the field. With few months of assisting a fitter i was promoted to install shoes on pipes and other small supports. I was taught to read support isos and how to install them. I was also the firewatch and hole watch of the crew.
