Education

M&S Grinding (2000 – 2004)

Started for M&S when I was seventeen. I worked on and off with this company over the course of 20 years.

I started out with basic forklift operation, loading, and unloading eighteen-wheelers.

Grinding nickel-plated alloy tubing using a 4-inch hand grinder, 15-inch hand grinder, and a 4-inch x 90-inch belt grinder.

S&E Fabrication (2004)

I ran an electronic and computerized plasma machine cutter, cutting torch, 4-inch hand grinder, rolling 4 x 8 sheets of metal on a rolling machine, and wire welder operator.

Lariat Drilling (floorhand) (2004)

Pioneer Drilling (floorhand) (2006

Rigging up and down, assisting the driller and derrick hand in maintenance and repairing rig equipment.

Performed maintenance including lubricating the machinery, cleaning up and placing tools in the proper place, and racking pipes.

Tripping, running drill pipe in and out of the well-head, handling drill pipe in and out of the well-head, handling drip pipe, drill collars, slips and tongs, and elevators, when making or breaking up.

Became familiar with various terms and definitions, general information, rig safety, awareness, prevention and avoiding slips, trips, and falls, and use of standard OSHA personal protective equipment.

I was able to perform alongside derrick hand and gain the knowledge needed to move up from the floor to derrick.

Hinton Well Servicing (Derrick hand) (2008-2013)

Maintained and followed all safety procedures and regulations.

Worked derricks and rod baskets for various tubing and rod tripping operations.

Operated rig equipment according to job, (pumps, tongs, rod tongs, rig controls, fishing lost tools,

Assisted in all workover operations which included working floors, rig up/rig down, and general labor that needed to be done.

Install and remove Blowout Preventions Equipment

I quit school in the 9th grade to go to work and have been working ever since.
