My name is maureen kasiva muendo, I am passionate about food preparation and would love the opportunity to put my skills to work.

Being an alumni student in Boma International hospitality collage and learning about portion control I am able to cook according to the number of servings. I understand all aspects of kitchen operations in arears of menu planning, purchasing, kitchen safety, recipe development, food cost analysis, and quality control. I can cook various dishes, including traditional, national and international.

I have expertised my kitchen skills by working at The Sarova Stanely, Enashipai Resort and spa, quickmart Supermarket and inti nikkei restaurant, where I worked in all kitchen departments including an ala carte kitchen where individual needs were satisfied. I like working in a clean and tidy kitchen and always clean as I go along not leaving a huge pile of washing up till the end.

I am a hard worker, very organised and give attention to detail which I feel are key skills in kitchen setting. I enjoy working as part of a wider team but I am also capable of working on my own initiative.
