- Physician assistant for a team of 16 orthopedic surgeons, responsible for consulting on traumatic and emergent orthopedic injuries and issues including fractures, tendon lacerations, infections, cast/splint problems, and post-operative complications
- Bedside procedures which include: reductions and immobilization (splinting, casting, bracing), hematoma block, digital blocks, extensor tendon repair, laceration repairs, joint arthrocentesis and intra articular injections, irrigation and debridements
- Admission, management, and discharge of inpatient orthopedic patients including necessary imaging, pain control, medication reconciliation, appropriate and timely consults to other services as indicated, and disposition coordination
