In October of 2021 I completed a locum assignment in an urgent care styled emergency intake shelter in Pomona California. There I worked alongside other doctors and nurse practitioners to provide care for migrant children entering the United State via the southern border. The patients’ ages ranged from 3 months to 17 years. I have over 10 years of comprehensive experience in primary care of pediatric patients ranging in ages from 3 days to 21 years. I have worked as a sole provider in a rural clinic setting, and I have also rotated between several clinics.
