As Director of Maintenance/Maintenance Manager transiting onto a new contract the was held previously for seventeen years by the outgoing contractor was the undertaking of My career. Managing a Fleet of One Hundred and Eighty-Five Commuter and local transit Buses servicing an area ranging over Prince William County and the I-66 Corridor and to include I-95 service to DC and the pentagon. Transforming a Maintenance facility that was neglected and unmaintained. Implementation of KIHM process and the 5S of the Maintenance department was a rewarding and learning undertaking. Over the first ninety days of service the transition had no impact to Unit availability or PMI OTP. Assisted My RMM in writing the Maintenance Plan and Shop Safety Plans. Administrative duties to include, SWPPP and SPCC and ODCP Registrations, DEQ Fuel Tank Registration, Employee Engagement, Quality of work life for the Technicians, adding value to the customer and Economic Performance while ending waste. Successfully staffed and equipped a second Facility during this time that services and Maintains Forty-Six units that were transferred from the Original Contract Facility.
