A. Personal Statement

The current position I reside in is an Environmental Scientist, located in the Microbiology Section. I am constantly maintaining and improving the CBD Oil Analysis program within the laboratory. Insuring Chain of Custody within the section and integrity of the samples. Always insuring the Department’s Business, informing my Bureau Chief of changes in the process, being cognizant of variations within the budget process, and maintaining a high accountability concerning the integrity of my position. I am constantly searching and preparing for innovative ways to improve the position I am currently in and make the Agency a more prepared and vigilant ally of the tax payer’s money. I have successfully implemented certain procedures in the budgetary process to cross check and balance the sustained ordering and outgoing revenue of our budget. I have also recommended new procedures to Supervisors to protect the integrity of the samples and to prevent any possibility of cross contamination or chain of custody weaknesses in court room testimony. Due to my background as a Laboratory Analyst in a previous Laboratory, it gives me the perspective and peripheral latitude to be vigilant, able to multitask and perform my job duties with the familiarization of the current laboratory procedures and policies. My Forensic Science background also gives me the experience and foresight to pay close attention to detail and to clinically process incoming information and apply it with precision. With my previous experience as a Law Enforcement Administrator, I know the importance of teamwork, cohesiveness, camaraderie, working together to accomplish missions and the importance of customer service among citizens and coworkers. My past training, experience, and education in the field of Law Enforcement Administration, Forensic Science, touch DNA, analysis for the detection of illegal drugs, writing Standard Operating procedures, preparatory work and research has given me a broad spectrum of experience for the implementation of my position. I believe this position requires attributes consistent with my experience, education, and training.
