PROJECT PROFILE:
BE (Main project):
Design of multipliers using compressors.
The project focuses on the design of efficient multipliers like Wallace tree multiplier, Vedic multiplier and Baugh Wooley multiplier using 3-2, 4-2 and 5-2 compressors. The compressors are capable of adding 3 or more bits simultaneously, hence they are used in the design of multipliers to reduce the number of adders required while adding the partial products that are generated during multiplication process, which in turn reduces the time consumed for multiplication.
M.Tech (Mini projects):
A Novel Approach for the Removal of Artifacts in EEG Signals. The project focuses on the removal of artifacts in EEG signals using filter.
Noise Removal and Contrast Enhancement for X-Ray Images. The project focuses on the noise removal from the X-Ray images using adaptive median filter and image enhancement is achieved using CLAHE.
M.Tech (Main project):
Development and validation of ST-segment detection algorithm using LabWindows/CVI. The project focuses on the development of an algorithm for the detection of ST segment, which is a key indicator of Myocardial infarction (heart attack) and other heart related diseases. The ST segment detection algorithm includes the extraction of ECG features like R- peaks, S wave offset point (J-point), T wave onset point and isoelectric line. The ST segment detection is developed using Labwindows/CVI. Validation of the developed algorithm is done using mindray Umec10 multi-parametric monitor. Project was carried out in Skanray Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Mysuru. INTERNSHIP / WORKSHOP ATTENDED:
Completed an internship program at Skanray Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Mysuru.
