Role : MQ System Administrator
Description:

SuperValu operates 24 distribution centers in 17 states and manage the logistics for approximately one billion cases of grocery products and perishables from more than 500 manufactures to more than 4,000 retail end points.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Configuring client and server machines with necessary components.
Configuring new DQM setups with necessary components for test environment
Configuring Cluster components on QMGRS to make them part of the cluster network.
Performing installation kind of tasks on test environment.

Project: Insurance Information System
Role : MQ System Administrator
Description:
This application is mainly aimed to handle the insurance details like Agent information,
policy information, and claims information. This application helps the different users to maintain the
different department details, and it generates multiple reports based on different conditions. The
management system that includes a comprehensive suite of customer management, administrative and
reporting applications to improve productivity, enhance revenue and increase operational efficiencies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Day to day administration and maintenance of the Websphere MQ (including queue managers
and all inter connecting channels in our servers).
Implemented distributed queuing client/server architectures and configured MQ.
Configured MQ Series queue managers, clusters and queue manager objects, queues, channels
etc.
Monitoring the Queue Manager Logs for unresolved messages stuck in the queues.
Monitoring of the queues, channels which needs to be up24x7 for business critical applications
and supporting clients.
Adding and Removing of queue manager to the cluster network.
Monitoring and maintenance of queue managers, queues, channels and listeners.
Used MQSC Commands to perform administration tasks.
Active participant in monitoring the middleware and Perform daily on call tasks (checking error
logs, Fail over queues, System Logs, Backed out messages) to maintain a healthy system.
Handling and Trouble shoot of undelivered messages by working with dead letter queues.
Involved in MQ Backup & Recovery process using MQ provided commands and utilities.
Used MQSC Commands to perform administration tasks.
