ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Study and understand project scope and requirements.

Plans for work and deployment resources, material, equipment, Manpower, tools for timely completion of work as has been planned for execution.

Involved in Joint fusion activities and checking conformance to fusion parameters as per the approved BHFWPS.

Joint inspection with approved QC during liner installation procedure, the pulling force and cleanliness as per acceptance criteria & frequency.

Witnessed the pulling of liner into the host pipe and monitoring its pulling force as per the design calculation.

Witnessed the hydro-test activities of CS+HDPE line such as low pressure test and Strength test.

Verification of all reports by the end of activity completion.

HYDROTESTING ACTIVITY

Coordinates and monitors the CS pipeline & GRE pipeline hydro testing.

Responsible for carrying out mechanical clearance, conducting hydro and pneumatic test air blowing, full filling commissioning and pre-commissioning requirements for the project.

Carryout, cleaning gauging, water filling, pressurization, strength test, leak test, depressurization proper dewatering and proper drying.

Calculations of water volume required for filling and ensure the availability water sample test result from approved lab.

Deciding capacity of filling pump and pressurization pump required, quantifying the fittings, valves and hoses needed for test headers for water filling and pressurization and temporary headers for cleaning and gauging.

Carried out air volume calculation at 35bar or 50 %, 80%, 95% and 100 % of test pressure.

Ensure proper stock of LD and HD foam pig at site arrangement of dryer at site check the weight of LD and HD pig before launching and after receiving.

Assist in arrangement & calculation of nitrogen cylinders as per pipeline volume.

Nitrogen leak test (N2) & Nitrogen – Helium leak test (N2-He)/ Nitrogen purging etc
