Immediate post-op care of cardiothoracic surgery patients including coronary artery bypass, thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm repairs, ascending aortic aneurysm and arch repairs under deep hypothermic arrest, VA/VV ECMOs, LVADs, TAVRs, esophagostomy, pneumonectomy and lobe resections

Daily rounding with the surgical and ICU teams including daily lab, radiology and order review, along with development of daily assessment and plans

Interpretation of hemodynamic monitoring including cardiac rhythms, PA pressures, central venous pressures, and arterial line waveform with titration of pressors and ionotropic support

Procedural skills including arterial line placement, dobhoff/NGT placement, ultrasound guided IVs, blood cultures, vascath and triple lumen catheters under supervision

Removal of IABPs, epicardial wires, and chest tubes
