EXPERIENCE-May 2018-Jan 2019

Radisson Hotels and Resorts-Banquet Setup-placing rooms in setup organization through alphabetical order, as a team and unit. This was my biggest step after college, or longest work period, nine months.

EXPERIENCE April 2019-May 2019/August 2019-Jan 2020 Homewood Suites by Hilton-Food and Beverage Associate. As part of a morning “crew” I was responsible, along with my teammates, to make sure everything in the dining room, kitchen, and laundry room was working like clockwork. This was nearly impossible without my coworkers.

EXPERIENCE January 2021-May 2022

As part of a team and unit, I was and am a food service worker for the Sodexo team at Lewis Gale Montgomery-Floyd Hospital in Blacksburg, Virginia. My duties include washing dishes, catching dishes off the line, and brining up prepared food trays to the patients to the four floors of the hospital. This is my range of responsibilities for a utility worker in my Department-Dietary.

Experience August 2009-April 2011

As part of my work study progress, I was employed by the department of Academic Affairs. For this team, I made copies of documents, distributed catalogs throughout the university, and delivered the mail and retrieved it in the morning on a daily basis. My shift was in the morning, for about two hours, I believe. The time span was for two academic years, Fall and Spring.

Experience May 2009-July 2010

As part of a growing team, I was an employee of the University Club of Kentucky golf club. I was responsible for picking up trash after the day was done and setting up everything in the morning for their convenience. This includes filling the water coolers, picking the driving range, setting up the greens, and meeting the customers on days of outings. This experience lasted for two summers.

Experience 2007-2007

As my first banquet setup job, I worked in Plymouth, Indiana at the Swan Lake Resort. I was employed for two months, April through June, before I began college at Holy Cross College at Notre Dame, IN. I set up for weddings, banquet functions, and lunches.

Experience January 2020-April 2020

I worked for the schools of Montgomery county. This includes the high school in Christiansburg, and the grade schools as well. I prepped meals for the students and cleaned up the area of fixing after servicing the meals.

Experience July-July 2022

I worked at Seven-Eleven for one week and a couple of days. The reason why this period was so short, was because it was a trial to see if I could work the store by myself. I didn’t succeed, so the manager said I could only have 10-15 hours a week, which I couldn’t survive upon with my fixed income. Plus, I can’t work two part-time jobs, as instructed by my doctors. It was in this role, I was a store employee. I rang people up at the gas register, refilled cups, and stocked the shelves.
