•This project is with respect to the Storage Area Networks. It involves testing of Fabric OS.
Fabric OS is the firmware for Fiber Channel switches and Fiber Channel directors also known as FOS and Fabos. The Fabric OS CLI enables an administrator to monitor and manage individual switches, ports, and entire fabrics from a standard workstation. Selected commands must be issued from a secure Telnet or SSH session.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Technically leading a team of 5 members which includes two projects Element Manager v7.1.0 and SNMP v7.1.0.
•Involved in adding TCL scripts to the framework for SNMP testing
•Involved in functional specification review, test strategy, test design/test case creation and sign-off, defect reporting and validation.
•Involved in giving TOI to new joiners
•Responsibilities include performing quality audit for the team, CMMI SPOC apart from testing assigned features
•SQA representative in Dev-SQA sync up meeting. Involved in defect scrubbing and Software release notes preparation.
•Handled critical features like SW-MIB, CEE MIBS and IF-MIB
