DUTIES and Responsibilities:

Enforce company site safety rules and regulations inside the worksite

Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety.

Ensure the Site Safety and Health Plan is prepared and implemented.

Investigate accidents that have occurred within incident areas

Ensure Risk Assessment is implemented as per approve Method Statement

Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily work plan

Conducting safety toolbox meeting to all project workers prior to start of work together with field supervisors.

Participate in weekly safety audit and safety meeting together with all members of safety committee.

Examine tools/machinery on site

Ensure construction site activities do not put non-construction site people outside of the site at risk.

Ensure that all fire-fighting equipment’s are in excellent condition at all times.

Provide advice and counsel to all employees regarding compliance with site safety requirements of the project

Conduct safety inspection of portable power tools and hand tools in monthly basis.

Supervise safety inspection of lifting gears and equipment’s in monthly basis.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisors within the physical constraints of the job e.g (Progress and Activity report).

Preparation of Daily and Weekly HSE report and other report’s with regard’s to safety e.g

(Incident, Near miss, Accident etc.)
