Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor the quality control indicators and alert sub-contractor/end-user/contractor site engineers in cases of deviation and propose corrective measures to be applied.
Review Drawings & Specifications, Laboratory Test Results, Inspection, and test plan, and Method Statements for implementation.
Witness along with the client representative and consultants the testing of materials and structures (e.g., concrete sampling, trial mix, materials testing for building, etc.) if it conforms to the design/specifications of the international standards.
Prepares Inspection Requests and other quality-related reports/documents of every activity and monitors accomplishments.
Implement all aspects of quality assurance/control system on all materials; keep on file test results and calibration reports of test equipment.
Ensure that the process of work is in accordance with the method statements and that approved drawings are followed.
Attend and prepares records for quality audits and inspections by client, and consultants.
Address concerns and issues raised by clients and consultants on quality matters.
Liaise with clients and consultants on matters relevant to quality assurance/control.
Assist the manager in developing and implementing the Project Quality Management System.
Assisting planning engineer for electrical trench program.
Supervising labour and sub-contractors to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with work procedures and instructions.
Preparation and implementation of the weekly and monthly program.
Coordinate daily inspections and meetings.
