Senior Director, Store Design and Development

• Directed team in all aspects of store design development, with an emphasis on interior and architectural design, for Whole Foods Southern Pacific region. Presented concepts and information persuasively to executive teams

• Developed branding, vision and voice for all new stores and remodels in the region. Environments were designed to be uniquely engaging, informative, and authentic as well as regionally- relevant shopping and dining experiences

• Led internal team, as well as coordinated with third-party architects, design consultants, building contractors, and fixture manufacturers, to ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget

• Collaborated on store design and construction efforts for over 50 stores across multiple regions of the U.S. and Canada. Directed design for the first four Whole Foods Market stores on the Hawaiian Islands, including the award-winning Queen flagship store in Honolulu

• Contributed concept development for custom elements such as sculptural fixtures, bar ceiling and wall treatments, custom furniture, built-in seating, pop-up structures, lighting and art installations

• Provided concept and design for several national Whole Foods events involving stage, exhibit and experiential spaces Impressions Marketing Group, Lorton, VA 1997–2003
