Overview

I am interested in a data entry, administrative position, or accounting position from my home. I am retired, but feel I have something to offer a company. I type 90 wpm and operate a calculator by touch. I many years of customer service and I know what is needed to be an exceptional employee.

Experience

Mabank ISD – Para-professional for 5th and 6th grade math 12/21 to 8/1/22

Certified Para-professional for teaching Math, assisting in the office, substitute if needed, and the safety and welfare of children in my care. My students included those who needed help to achieve a better understanding or they did not pass their staar test.

Prosperity Bank – Drive thru Teller 9/17 to 12/21 Responsible for all teller duties, change orders, deposits, assisting customers with their questions, making Birthday calls, selling new products, and balancing vault and ensuring my drawer is always correct. I am also responsible for closing the bank every day. I secured a job with Jackson Hewitt with all the necessary testing and training, but took job at the bank for full-time and benefits. Assisted employees and customers with their taxes.

Farmers State Bank – Teller/Bookkeeping 1/16 – 9/17 Drive Thru Teller with responsibilities of following all rules and regulations set by the bank, balancing drawer every shift with zero tolerance for discrepancies, remembering customer names and special needs they may have, helping with any bookkeeping needs at slower times, completing Diversity University every quarter, worked in proof and assisting, as well as many other daily tasks to assist Senior Personnel and Bank Officers. Processed tax returns for teachers and other friends during this time as well.

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse – General Manager 1/96 – 9/15 Responsibilities included, but not limited to, leadership presence and involvement in shift management models, hospitality and providing service excellence in a multimillion dollar restaurant. I processed taxes for my team (appx 35 per season) each year as many were young and inexperienced, but wanted to be able to use their returns to prove their wages for future credit.

Assist in maximizing restaurant profitability by monitoring F&B cost controls and labor costs. Maintain par levels for dining supplies. Review restaurant surveys and respond to customers about their feedback. I continued using my knowledge to help my team with their taxes.
