JESSI OLIVIA-JOY
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
I am sensitive and understanding to the needs of children whose emotions and behaviors can vary depending on mental instabilities as well as family environment. I have four children and have volunteered to mentor two teenagers, one with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and one with Autism who also had learning disabilities. I worked specifically with children who have emotional and/or mental disabilities in schools and in a residential community. My passion and drive is to encourage children to be the best they can be in any given circumstance and to demonstrate care for themselves and others depending on their strengths and weaknesses. I am energetic and collaborate best with a team of staff whose focus is to ensure that residents are well supported in their individual needs and specialized care.
