My best friend and I wrote a proposal to start a much needed prenatal clinic for primarily the Medicaid population due to lack of providers accepting Medicaid. I am very proud of the clinic we started and the many patients we served.
I had the privilege of teaching prenatal classes to so many wonderful expecting mothers for about two years.
I was apart of creating an expo style teaching event for expecting mothers that we held quarterly at the facility I worked for many years. It was a large event that taught our patients many tools/tips of parenting, and provided them with necessities for their bundle of joy.
