Certification in Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP) 3.1 with Bachler Degree in Physics from Andhra University as a background and having ten (10) years of experience in large projects for Inspection / Audit works related to QA / QC for construction, shut down and in-service inspection of Petro chemical, power, Oil & Gas industry with Code and Standard knowledge on API, ASTM, ASME, ASNT and NACE.

The key experience and interested areas during the plant construction, shut down, maintenance and annual survey assessment inspections for the major equipment (static, rotating and piping / valves) includes the inspection, review records, reporting and recommendation with remedial / corrective action plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pipeline Fit-up and weld visual inspection, dimensional inspection, in-process inspection, Material inspection, pre & post weld heating, re-tubing, lining of vessels and other repair jobs.

Supervises and co-ordinates contracted NDT team whenever required. Involved in critical NDT jobs in last 10 years’ experience. Prepare of NDT procedures. Checking of NDT personnel qualification and job quality.

Witness for WQT, Mechanical Tests, Hydrostatic Test, Pneumatic Test.

Review drawing, Contractors fabrication test report, inspection reports, welding procedure, welder performance, NDT procedure

Coordinate all Departments with Contactor for Permits, NDT Personals, Scaffolding, Electrical, and Mechanical

Supervision of Mechanical sub-contractor during shut down execution of re-installation works to install major process equipment, supporting structures and associated process pipe work

Preparing preliminary reports on inspections, NDT tests and highlighting any anomalies and make recommendations via supervisor for action by relevant departments.

Review & approve WPS & PQR, witness WQT & monitor welder qualifications.

Performing and witnessing for static equipment inspection activities like Hydrostatic test and pneumatic test.

Radiographs Interpretation, witness application of NDT and endorse QC reports.

Review and approve all UT gauging/NDT reports and inspection reports.

Responsible for project Inspection activities and act as NDT Consultant.

Inspection for corrosion, erosion and pitting, SCC, SSC & HIC by using WFMPI, AUT, TOFD, MFL and Ultrasonic Flaw detector.

Monitoring the work as per client documents (MT, PT, RT, VT, ET, UT and PAUT)

Cross check NDT results intermediately.

Mobilization and demobilization of NDT crew activities based on work load.

Radiography projector safety requirements.

Verification of calibration certifications of all NDT equipment using in that facility.

Coordinate and guide all Inspectors on quality, corrosion and inspection related issues.

Training NDT personnel working in this project.
