This was the first bloomingdales store on the west coast. I was lucky to be on the opening staff.They gave me the responsibility of setting up the stock room which was 5000 sq. feet. It took about 6 weeks 8 hours a day( I had a crew of 4 ). They also sent the dept manager and I to go to the shoe trade show in las Vegas and do some buying for the demographic customer here in California.
