1979 -1981US Army the last year and six months I was SGT E-5 team leader of Phase maintenance

1984-2013 Escambia county School District Ran crews and became the President of the Labor organization representing 1600 employees

2013-2015 elected to the Florida AFL-CIO as the Sectary/Treasurer managing 20 employees ten in the Office and 10 abroad the State with daily assignments employee discipline handling problems of the insurance, pay, leave use and accrual and personal files date of hire to termination dates still maintain addresses for retirement records

LEADERSHIP

· During my career, I was the President of the ESP Union for 15 years set on the bargaining team for employee’s benefits and salaries and I can articulate the subject for many different types of types of employee’s issues and needs. I feel that my experience will reflect that even at the earliest of my working life I have always been in some form of leadership as a self-starter it has come that I excel in as a natural leader the last two year of my career I was elected to the office of Sectary/Treasurer (book keeper) at the State AFL-CIO to win a state-wide election I have always been looked at as a leader.

·1979-1981 US Army: Assigned as Crew Chef on a helicopter maintained log book and daily maintance scheduled advance inspections then lead the team on phase mantaince work benign done to the Aircraft

·1981-1984 Masters Installation: installing installation on industrial pipes cyclols was assigned a company truck for hauling men and materials to job sites keep up with time and how much money was loaned to each employee when out of town reported daily to the owner by phone progress and needs of any materials.

·1984-2000 Escambia Co. School District: Managed one zone of Escambia Co. schools district of 12 schools for over twelve years done all repairs along with major renovations supervised many as 12 men assigned at different times. Issued assignments to the different crews and bought all material required to complete assigned jobs. Kept up with all time sheets and project costs. Several times required to fill out FEMA sheets for reimbursements after hurricanes.

·2001-2013 Escambia Co. School District: Became the Union President duties changed to management representing Members in bargaining salary’s, Insurance cost, Contracts, discipline from first level to termination and organized membership recruitment campaigns. During those years got elected as Ex-Cabinet with FEA (Florida Education Association) maintained that position for Six years setting strategic Goals and budgets. Sat as Management with State Staff for the terms and conduction of their employment. Trained other New Presidents in other States and Counties in Fl. On how manage the new duties and some of my best recruitment campaigns plus how to build a workable climate with the administration of the School District of their county.

·2013—2015 Elected to the State of Florida AFL-CIO as Sectary/Treasurer maintained the Financials, all accounts receivable and payable, Scheduling Finance Committee for the reports to the Ex-Board, payroll, calculating and taxies and paying IRS, received all time sheets, kept all personal files as w4 forms and deductions, notice new hire Florida and maintained sick leave annual leave accrual and use, scheduled all meeting with Ex-Board keep notes of all meetings and phone conference calls, maintained all recorders of business and retirement payments and personals draws of the retirement, schedule interviews organize interview boards dates times and noticed candidates of boards choice

·2017-present I am a maintenance mechanic at Department of Revenue at Southwood Tallahassee Fl. I am the leader-man and have tried to get promoted but I have no Time in service with the State. I am looking for a a place that I can make more money and challenge me with more opportunities to advance in the last 7 years of employment
