EXPERIENCE
I have been inspecting buses in the Indiana area for the past 19 years from 2002 till present .I also delivered buses for Tesco for a short two year period which took me into 33 states without any incidents.
HISTORY
Over the 30 years that I was employed by TARTA (Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority) as Senior Body Shop Technician I performed numerous duties. Some of them are as follows: repairing major accidents and other duties as assigned including arc welding, mig welding with steel, stainless, and aluminum. I have welded everything from fuel tanks to frames (bumper to bumper) body repairs. I’ve removed radiators from busses to installation of VCR and cameras for surveillance, replaced windshields and rust removal. I also was required to have a CDL license for road service calls. TARTA also sent me to inspect newly purchased busses at the following companies: RTS busses (Pontiac, MI), Flexible busses (Delaware & Loudonville, OH) and Gillig busses (Hayward, CA).
After retirement from TARTA I was hired by McLean Consulting & Associates to be a part-time bus inspector (no longer in business). I have since been inspecting busses for First Transit.
