Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Research: Nanomedicine May 2018 – August 2018
Development of Microfluidic samples to test the fluid flow on a micro-level for nanomedicine.
Developed a test medium for testing flow by using a 10:1 ratio of Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and Sylgard 184 Silicone Elastomer base.
Created the flow marks with laser draw and used a scan electron microscope to take pictured and record the results.
Senior Design Project: Mobility Alert Shirt Fall 2017 - Spring 2018
Developed and designed a prototype Shirt for the elderly with sensors to track their long-term wellbeing and alert first responders in case of an emergency (fall).
A microcontroller (FLORA) is used to process information received from the sensors and relay the information to a messaging system (FONA GSM+GPS) to call the emergency service in cases of emergency.
Developed a proposal, and Gantt chart, and wrote the code using Arduino.
Biomechanics: PASCO Arm Project Fall 2015
Calculated forces required to flex the arm using the PASCO program.
Assisted with measurement of the net force needed to flex the arm.
Coordinated group meetings for finishing the project.
