Experience – Summary

Nearly ten years manufacturing/production experience within a fast paced, high volume, USFDA registered, ISO certified meat/seafood processing, cutting, and packaging operation. Solid understanding food process/package equipment start-up, process line assembly, and limited maintenance trouble shooting procedures. In short; working with minimal supervisor, it’s my responsibility to conduct daily started-up of process equipment/machinery for a plant employing one hundred plus workers, and keeping the processing lines stocked with raw material throughout the shift. Well trained in safety, environmental, and quality procedures. Thirteen years, Correctional Officer employed at one of Illinois toughest maximum security prisons. Detailed oriented, and belief that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are in place to be adhered to. Strong overall mechanical aptitude and work ethic. • Responsibilities include: Following written daily production schedules/reports, assembly of processing equipment, i.e., mixers, grinders, conveyors, etc., from over-night cleaning sanitation. Ready the lines to accommodate an ever changing varying of daily production equipment schedules. Stock lines with sufficient product to begin production runs and replenish supplies from warehouse as needed to assure continuous uninterrupted production. Transport finished product to warehouse, and haul bins of scrap/waste materials as needed. Keep management informed of product inventories, report any shortages, and discrepancies, maintain mobile equipment and warehouse in a clean and sanitary manner.
