PROFILE
I have worked in the retail industry for over 20 years. I current work for Walmart as an overnight stocker. I’ve stocked the whole store for almost two years and know where and how to merchandise very well. Prior to stocking, I worked as a truck unloader for a little over two years separating and organizing merchandise to the proper departments. I have asset protection( security) experience for 8 months catching thieves in the store. I also have experience from management known as Department Manager and was over Lingerie and Fine Jewelry departments. Before Walmart, I worked for Mervyns. I learned the whole store while working for that company. I worked merchandising the backroom, reset sales floor with merchandise, register trained and gave great customer service. Truck unloader- Unload trucks with other associates separating merchandise by departments and pulling the merchandise out to the sales floor to be stocked to the floor.
Asset Protection- Help security detour thieves in the store by checking the customers receipts at the door and making sure no one walks in or out without paying for merchandise.
Department Manager- Managed departments Jewelry and Lingerie for 3 years. Made sure merchandise was set/reset properly, associates under me projects, maintain cleanliness, markdown merchandise and customer service.
