Bricklaying, dozer operator, was responsible for maintaining and running scrap yard for union railroad incoming scrap for charging vessels and also operating car puller to advance gondolas containing various types of scrap metals for charging process .I also was to maintain tracks inside and outside of scrap yard including keeping tracks clear of debris and occasionally having to upright a derailed car.
