Genetically Engineered Murine Model (GEMM)

Serve as the laboratory specialist; charged with overseeing and identifying key research for the core of the school of medicine, University of Virginia, Charlottesville.

Executes genetic engineering (from transgenesis to genome editing), utilize CRISPR technology, gene editing strategies, and complete project designs. Ensure maintenance of transgenic mice colony, sperm cryopreservation / rederivation, embryo cryopreservation, rederivation.

Successfully use PCR to determine sex and genotype, agarose gel electrophoresis.

Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Oye-Ekiti 2013 – 2016

Managed administration of the university and submitted regular reports to the Federal Ministry of Education. Presided over the university Senate, which was responsible for all academic matters affecting students and staff.

Functioned as the chief accounting officer of the university and defended the annual budget of the university before the National Assembly.

Acted as chairman of the appointment and promotions committee; responsible for the appointment of new staff and promotion of staff on regular appointment.

Executed various duties as Vice-Chancellor, oversaw security of both staff and students on campus.
