Duties and responsibilities:

Develop efficient blast designs based on site conditions and specifications.

Explosives demand preparation,blast plan & performing blast.

Controlling the blasting activities.

Develop and implement safe blasting procedures.

Ensure drilling pattern and blasting parameters as per design

Keep record of drill holes, blasted material for further development and production

Supervise all other quarry operations.

Follow up of feeding material to crusher, crusher production, specification of crushed material.

Handling and scheduling all heavy earth moving equipment required for the crusher.

Assist the Quarry Manager for the preparation of long term and short term production / mining plans.

Assist the Quarry manager in preparation of mining benches, maintenance of bench and all over quarry.

Maintain explosive and accessories inventory and its record

Quarry quality control

Ensure health and safety of quarry personnel and assets.

Manage the day to day running of operations

Development of quarry.

Production cost controlling.

Monitoring team work.
