Attendance is the most important key to have. I am a very reliable person when it comes to being on time and coming to work every day. Motivation is another important key to have in everyday life. The work effort that I can show you is always to try my hardest with any challenge thrown in front of me.
In a few years I want to have more experience with phlebotomy which I have achieved and a few other positions with the medical field as well which is what I had planned but since the Covid pandemic in 2020 all my plans changed. There is a few jobs i am interested in and I would like to go back to school eventually to finish up schooling and become a Registered Nurse. For now, I want to be able to work part time and watch my two daughters grow. Professional Experience
Boscov’s (in Berkshire Mall), October 2021 to February 2022
• I started out as a seasonal employee which was just to fulfill the internet orders for all the customers. I had to make sure that the items on the shelf matched the list of the customers purchased items. After that I had to wrap the items appropriately and ship them out to the right address before Christmas.
• After the holidays I was asked to stay on the team and I said yes so I worked part time. I loved meeting new people and helping them with any questions they had. The Reading Hospital Laboratory Services, (May 11th, 2012 to June 22nd, 2012) Tower Health 2011-2013 & 2017-2019
I am an intern in phlebotomy and a student at Reading Area Community College; some responsibilities were to go by certain protocols and procedures. A proud accomplishment that I have worked hard for was getting 400 sticks within 6 weeks and I accomplished doing so in 5 weeks.
Treating everyone the same and being clean is a big responsibility. A second accomplishment that I have succeeded was during this whole process I have not missed one day of this program since the beginning and my attendance was great.
After the career program I went on to work for reading hospital in patient services for about 2 years and then left due to having my first child, they were not respectful towards the thought of me needing to have an extra break aside from my 30-minute lunch break, to pump and store the milk in the lactation room, in the year 2013.
However, I did leave this job but then in 2017 I was hired back for outpatient lab tech services and stayed there till 2019 when Covid shut down all the schools including my daughters elementary school, I had to leave to take care of my two daughters, since they went to remote learning.
Deb (in Berkshire Mall), April, 2012 only for a few months.
A clothing store for juniors and plus sized girls. Meeting specific daily and yearly goals are an important thing and by doing so will help all the employees with receiving bonuses and one step closer to remodeling deb to make it more presentable. One accomplishment is making each costumer happy with what they are buying.
The environment is all about being a girl and making girls feel comfortable in their own clothing. Having a positive attitude and helping costumers is very important. The second accomplishment I have earned was, selling a costumer over a hundred-dollar purchase which is very awesome. Ruby Tuesday (in Berkshire Mall), February, 2012 to April, 2012
My job was bussing tables and Hosting. Being to work on time was very important because when it was my turn to work there was a shift change and other employees were coming in and others were leaving. An important accomplishment was to make sure that all the servers were sat with guests in a circular rotation so that would make the job equally divided between them.
Knowing how to use the Micro was very important because this machine showed the host or hostess where to seat the next guests. Greeting every guest when they enter the restaurant is a big responsibility, this allows the guests to feel welcome and that the host has noticed them and that they have walked in.
New York Bagelry, August 20 2010 to February, 2012
Every day was the same breakfast and lunch and everything was prepared on bagels. One responsibility was making sure the right order went to the right customer and to the right school if it was a delivery. An important accomplishment is giving a customer the best service you can while they are eating in at the bagelry.
Learning how to be quick and training on the drive thru was a little difficult but that was my job and i did it. A second responsibility was making sure everyone was taken care of which means there was a lot of speed and quickness to this job or the customers will complain. Having regular customers come in on a daily basis is an example of they have received great service the last visit so they came again, was a great accomplishment to achieve. Some of the customers actually requested certain workers to make their orders and that was also a great thing.
Old Fashion Wendy's, April, 2008 to August, 2010
Food preparation, Order taking, and coordinating the orders were the key importance to working at Wendy’s. Attendance is the key factor in responsibility, especially when u have to make sure your wearing the correct dress code uniform, and everything else included like the hat and the name tag or that would be held against you. Making great food not only tastes good but looks good too is the main accomplishment.
Working as a team was also important. Giving great service and being friendly was a must when working at Wendy’s. One responsibility was making sure you have the right items done as what the customer wanted. The second accomplishment was making a good impact of Wendy’s on the customer so they leave happy and come back again soon. Education
