Walmart

I specialized in stocking and unstocking shelves on the sales floor while assisting in customer service. I worked in the backroom adjusting counts and putting overstock in our bins

Horton automatics

I woked on an assembly line in the rail department which are the vertical beams for automatic doors as you would see at walmarts, h-e-b’s. And regular doors in regular convenient stores. I was responsible for putting in the beams that would make the door open and close and lock and unlock. I also worked on special jobs as in las vegas transit doors that took special keys and special hurricane reinforced doors for florida. Skills:

Storage: I helped maintain a warehouse boot only inside but an outside storage as well. Putting items on storage shelves and scanning them into our system also pulling stuff of the racks prepping them for out shipments. Helped maintain outside storage by stowing and pulling rotor heads, engines, transmissions as well as Apache blades, chinook blades. Also had to consolidate certain stock numbers into making fewer locations in order to make new locations for up and coming new stock numbers. I was able to operate 6k forklifts up to the 15 k forklift. I also used stock selectors, and turret trucks which allowed me to go up to the highest locations and pull out the entire pallet of assets if needed. Packing: I packed many items by inspecting them first, then finding out what method of pack and preservation they needed. Weather it be small partial items to bulk items. By doing so i was able to determine what type or packing paper and or special waterproof bags to use. I packed many things from altimeters to large things such as helicopter blades to roter heads and transmissions. Many items i packed went to certain storage locations pur depot had or to shipping for out shipments. Local delivery: I would pick up various items. Some were engines, transmission, blades, hazardous material and transport them by forklift to various stops around the base. Weather if they were going specifically to our depot or to certain stops or shops all over the naval base. I often used a 6k forklift or our 15k forklift Receiving: I would inspect material that would come through the door for damage then inspect by serial number and stock number then proceed to bring it to record on our computer program. I also unloaded trucks by date. Making labels. Also worked in a yard by offloading flat beds and trailers that contained Apache blades, chinook blades, helicopter blades and inspected and bring them on record And stack them while maintaining the yard by myself.

Tiger team: while on the tiger team which only a handful of us were specially selected cause we new how to work in every single department. We were used to cut down cost of hiring more employees, ansd cut down overtime to save our depot more money.
