JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Study the requisition carefully with full identification of patient, interpret the physician request and proper position of every part to be examined, practice international patient safety goal.
Ensure the department is properly maintained and with adequate supplies to meet Its requirements.
Evaluate patient physical condition as per safety requirement before conducting any procedure.
Evaluate images taken for quality, appropriateness, accuracy and completeness.
Forward recorded produced images for Radiologist review and reporting.
Ensure timely reporting, validating and releasing of results.
Encode results of different procedures for online posting and verification.
Responsible for the technical quality of radiographs and proper operation of equipments within designated areas.
Prepare logbook of the different procedures and guidelines for any evaluation purposes.
Ensure proper documentation of radiographic operations including logging of request and results.
Maintain equipment and facilities, conduct inventory of equipment and supplies for subsequent use.
Implement the quality control of every machine for safe bombardment of x-ray in optimal acceptable permissible dose.
Aware of policies and procedure guide that support the activities inside the radiology department.
Maintain clean and antiseptic condition of the radiology equipment and accessories inside the department and inward clinical areas.
Demonstrate functional knowledge in dealing with isolated to prevent cross infection.
