Experienced worker seeking position with a strong organization with a great staff. I possess significant experience in nearly all phases and aspects of warehouse material handling. I have been in warehouse work since my years in the military in the late 1970’s. I am familiar with inventory management, shipping & receiving, general clean-up, loading and unloading semi- trucks, vans, and light trucks. I’ve also operated a forklift for over twenty five (25) years. I have operated all types of lifts, propane, electric, stand-up, heavy (diesel), and bobcats. I also possess fairly decent computer skills. I have significant experience with bills of lading, UPS and FedEx shipping and receiving protocols and paperwork. I possess an OSHA forklift certification for Class 1,3,4 and 5 Forklifts.

My past work and life experiences afford me the ability and opportunity to assess difficult situations, then find and apply practical solutions to sometimes difficult and/or complex work situations. I possess a quick analytical mind with a great attitude and work ethic. Managed pallet inventory, and bought pallets from customers. Promoted to Operations manager after seven (7) months.

1980-1985 Brown Packaging & Bindery Toledo, Oh Forklift Operator; loaded unloaded trucks, provided material to production and assembly workers and removed finished product from line. Managed inventory of assembly parts, and worked in assembly.
