Designed a test plan and performed E2E testing for

.1. Implementing real-time Retail Payment Platform (RPP), Deutsche Bank Malaysia

.2. Migrating a proprietary transaction representation to the ISO format, Deutsche Bank, Thailand

Learned the ins and outs of a real-time online backend processing system in Deutsche Bank referred to as Interactive Data Management System (IDMS). This system had 2 components (core and payments) powering a suite of functions including ACH payments, forex settlements, loans/deposits settlements, cheque clearing, liquidity management, reporting etc.

Came up with the test strategy to integrate with a hot scanning system that was used to detect fraud and perform threat analysis.

Coordinated with the data warehousing team for billing, reporting and persistent storage.

Adept with the SWIFT banking communication system, both upstream and downstream. As a specialization I also dabbed my hands in the Indian Financial Messaging System (and its structured counterpart). Feb 2017 – Mar 2019 Bengaluru, India

Brainstormed over the acceptance criteria for the transaction details and account management page in IDMS used by 10s of thousands of executives in Deutsche Bank.

Devised tests for the system at different stages of development. This involved unit tests, functional tests, regression tests, UATs and integration tests.

Defined various integration test scenarios for individual components as well as for the system as a whole.

Integrated with the HP ALM system for effective communication and timely resolution of defects.

Worked in a team that followed both waterfall and agile methodologies. Skills
