NATURE OF WORK

Receipt at the security

Security shall ‘SECURITY INWARD STAMP’ on the backside of the documents after physical verification of consignment.

Stores personnel shall ensure the physical quantity with reference to the document.

The material shall be un-loaded at the designated area as per STORES MATRIX.

RESPONSIBILITY

Material issues for FIFO and LIFO methods.

All the consignments shall be identified with identification tag-waiting for inspection.

The details of the materials received shall be entered into the ORACLE SYSTEM

Any quantity deviation shall be noted on the documents for correction in the invoice.

Information shall be given to QA regarding the receipt of the materials.

QA shall be inspection the materials as per the control plans. The status shall be updated-with identification tag – ACCEPTED – REJECTED.

Rejected materials shall be kept at the designated place. The rejection area with identification.

ACHIEVENENTS IN MAHLE IPL

Computerization of all receipts and issues of alloy and inserts in oracle,

Allocating bin location for new product in oracle,

Achieving no pending records for the past three years.

Bin traceability and material traceability,

Inventory can be done easily with the help of proper bin location,

Development of item code and bin location for new materials for allocating them in proper location in excel sheet.
