INTERNSHIP:
Project title : Study of working methods in thermal power plant. Duration : 2 Months
Description : Today, most of the electricity produced throughout the world is from steam power plant. However, electricity is being produced by some other power generation sources such as hydro, gas, bio- diesel, solar cells etc; one newly developed method of electricity generation is the magneto hydro dynamic power plant. This project deals with steam cycles used in power plants. Project title : High voltage DC up to 3KV from AC by using diode and capacitors in ladder network.
Duration : 6 months
Description : This project is designed to develop a high voltage DC around 2KV from a source 230V AC supply using the capacitors and diodes in ladder network based on voltage multiplier concept. The design of the circuit involves voltage multiplier, whose principle is to go on doubling the voltage for each stage. Thus, the output from an 8 stage voltage multiplier can generate up to 2KV. As this is not possible to be measured by a standard multi-meter, a potential divider of 10:1 is used at the output such that 200V reading means 2KV.
Project title : LED Propeller Clock.
Duration : 6 months
Description : This project is a different view of holographic clock construct in linear array arrangement. It will be the coordination of electrical, electronics and some mechanical engineering. This “illusion” is based on inertia of human eye. The propeller clock is a linear array of light emitting diodes, rotating at a high angular velocity to generate a circular screen. Now by synchronizing these light emitting diodes, and keeping in mind the concepts of persistence of vision and limit of resolution, we can display a clock. TECHNICAL SKILLS:
